The boy's a time bomb...

2013-04-19 10:06:25 AM
I found the motive, his prom date didn't whip out dem titties

Kanemano: I found the motive, his prom date didn't whip out dem titties

Might've been a bigger explosion than the bomb.

2013-04-19 10:08:38 AM
And tended to mumble "...evil marathon bomber what bombs at marathons..."

2013-04-19 10:09:17 AM
I get the feeling his brother sort of dragged him into this shiat. He wasn't your typical "stay low and use the element of surprise" type kid. Also, I'm not an expert in microexpressions but in one of the photos from the marathon, he looks like he's hiding a deep sadness.

They always are, which is why we should arrest all friendly. laid-back people.

2013-04-19 10:09:42 AM
He dated SNOOKIE !!!

2013-04-19 10:10:59 AM
OMG He went to the Prom! That would turn anyone to terrorism.

2013-04-19 10:11:02 AM
CNN just interviewed his neighbor, basically stated he was a sweet kind kid...

2013-04-19 10:11:07 AM
He probably was radicalized by his older brother.  Too bad he brought the kid into this.  But it's too late, the kid planted the bomb.  If he gets out alive he's going to prison forever.

He's not getting out of this. Even if they get him alive, he's toast. We'll never know what they found out or what they did to him.

Sounds about right. He was only 9 when he came to the country, his brother was 16 and may have remembered more about what they left behind.

mjones73: CNN just interviewed his neighbor, basically stated he was a sweet kind kid...

They also interviewed one if his high school buddies who said "he liked to smoke a little weed now and then" and he was basically a normal American teenager

Time to arrest the teenagers, with their Twittering and Beibers and what not.

Tamerlan says he doesn't drink or smoke anymore: "God said no alcohol." A muslim, he says: "There are no values anymore," and worries that "people can't control themselves."

I guess we can quit asking waht his Fark handle is...

You just crossed a line. It's still a volatile situation, and making "jokes" like that might be a blast for you, but it's only a matter of time before someone blows up at you and you realize you don't have a leg to stand on.

That's interesting. You have a source?

I think we're all pretty much on the same page in thinking this kid was a normal college kid until his big brother started mucking around in his life. However, he's still a man, responsible for his actions.

i was watching the live feed on CNN earlier and they pulled out a woman in a RED COAT from the building they were cordoning off in Watertown, MA. A RED COAT PEOPLE. WAKE UP! Clearly, these Chechen thing is a decoy. The English are the ones behind it. April 19, 1775...  Lexington and Concord, never forget!

But if the King of England thinks he can conquer America, he's got another thing coming. Our senate just upheld the rights of criminals and the insane to bear arms. WOLVERINES!

Wiki has him up there with other notable Rindge and Latin alums like Ben Affleck, E. E. Cummings, Matt Damon, Walter Brennan and some Nobel prize winner.

You've just been itching to use that on the first user without a peen, haven't you?

He does have a very punchable face though.

His school chums could have helped him if only he showed his inner thoughts by brandishing a knife in his teeth.

He killed 3 people - one was a child - and injured many more.  I would think he gets capital punishment.

Tatsuma?

Ha!   Tat, a Muslin?

This demonstrates what we all already know about people who quit drinking, smoking, drugs, etc.  They are the worst kinds of people.  Everything was fine back when they enjoyed life, but when they decide to quit doing the little things that gave them pleasure, they become holier than thou and those things become the work of Satan.

My wife's cousin went to school with him and was good friends with him.  Needless to say he's pretty freaked out right now.

That's unusual character witness descriptions of a murderer. If I were being investigated, it'd be all the usual, "He was quiet, kept to himself, a bit weird."

mjones73: Interviewing a classmate on cnn now.

He brought up that a mutual friend had a discussion on terrorism with the suspect and the suspect's feeling was it's ok if it's justified...

2013-04-19 10:33:27 AM
In essence a non-affiliated and home-grown weirdo decided to cause trouble.  While good that it isn't part of a larger terrorism plot, it's sad that there was a less-successful brown McVeigh running around.

The anarchistic and/or extremist mindset is baffling.  A country of over 330 million people isn't going to cower and change course because a couple freaks try to off a few innocent people.

Just some interview on CNN, I don't watch it enough to know the name of the reporter.

But the guy they were interviewing claimed to have gone to high school with the younger bomber and that he was a normal kid who smoked weed every now and then. Which I found amusing. Also, the guy didnt want to be on camera for some reason.

Joking aside, there's probably some truth to this. I think the most striking thing is where he said he had no American friends and didn't understand us.

There's irony in the fact that people who avoid fun to "keep themselves clean" end up altering their perceptions far worse than any drug could.

I went to high school with him. I can confirm that he was a nice, quiet, laid back young man who enjoyed Ba-Ba-Booey! Howard Stern's penis!

From what I've read the older brother was big into islamic doomsday prophecy stuff.  Basically the Turner Diaries for Muslims.

No capital punishment in Massachusetts.

Oh they still can. Fed crimes. Won't happen though. If caught alive, he'll end up in a supermax cell till the day he dies.
