SpdrJay: So you're saying that picture of me having buttsex with a kangaroo on my facebook is likely to cause problems?
Special Agent: Captain Kangaroo is lookin pretty good these days.
scottydoesntknow: They won't get him for DWI or open container, as they can't prove it was beer in there. I'm betting he'll get the maximum fine for not having a license though.
NightMgr: In Texas, the open container has to actually contain alcohol. If it's an old can and is dry or refilled with something else, it's not an "open container."This is something that I wondered about when Michael Phelps was seen on video smoking from a water pipe. What evidence did they have of what was inside the pipe? Some pot head claimed it was pot? Did that pot head have a chemical analysis done?
Wodan11: Good grief, are people still thinking social media is your friend? It can get you arrested, cost you your job, cost you your marriage, get you subjected to an IRS audit... you're an idiot for using it. About the only thing it's good for is keeping track of the idiots you happen to know.

I'm betting he'll get the maximum fine for not having a license though.I agree about the DWI, not sure on the open container. My understanding of the law (around here, anyways) is that a year-old empty beer can rattling around under your car seat can be considered an open container if the cop really wants to be a dick about it. Even if the bottle contained water, it's still technically an "open container".
Bennie Crabtree: Jeez what are these people, bankers?
van1ty: Beck's makes non alcoholic beer...
FlameDuck: Biggest problem here is that Police is waisting time on social media. Get back to work!!!
offmymeds: "... symbols of drunkenness."What?
Wodan11: It can get you arrested, cost you your job, cost you your marriage, get you subjected to an IRS audit... you're an idiot for using it.
Fubegra: I just don't understand why people would publicly post VIDEO of themselves doing illegal things. Has attention whore culture really gone that far 'round the bend?/yes it has
Somaticasual: Shouldn't doing something colossally stupid and dangerous to society be just as shameworthy? Who cares if he's arrested, he's BRAGGING ABOUT DRUNK DRIVING. Even that girl that just got off for leaving the girl she hit to die didn't brag about it afterwards..
StoPPeRmobile: It's weird, those that have been on the interwebs since the beginning just assume everyone is a fat old guy or a cop.Kids these days.
Vaneshi: Somaticasual: Shouldn't doing something colossally stupid and dangerous to society be just as shameworthy? Who cares if he's arrested, he's BRAGGING ABOUT DRUNK DRIVING. Even that girl that just got off for leaving the girl she hit to die didn't brag about it afterwards..Hey, I'm driving drunk right now and typing on the cell phone! Woot!Or am I?We now live in a world where just because you saw it on TV/the internet doesn't mean it actually happened. Give me an hour and I can get some video 'proof' that I was drink driving. Actually make it two. I'll need to set the green screen up.
Vaneshi: I do hope the police fully investigated the crimes before showing up to arrest people. As in this day and age it is very common to have an online persona who does not act or 'think' like the person running the keyboard does. Often using nicknames or when possible. And in a world where video editing software is common place a bottle of 'Becks' might not be a bottle of Becks. As an example./They're probably idiots and actually did break the law though.
