theotherles: It could have been worse, They could have preempted a mindless soap opera.
Mosrael: Tasteless? Yes. Childish? You betcha. Worthy of anything more than a disappointing head shake? Nope. Also seems to be directed more at Obama than Boston. No need to plaster these people's faces and names everywhere for being idiots.
ReapTheChaos: I'll be honest here, I completely understand these peoples frustration. With the untold numbers of 24/7 news networks and the entire internet devoted to breaking news why they even bother interrupting scheduled TV anymore is kind of hard to understand. If there's a news worthy event happening I'll turn on a news channel.
Mobutu: And I said "God please answer me one question...Why'd they have to interrupt the Simpsons just for this?"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4_dpwKdxo4
superdude72: As well they should be. There is no reason every local station has to simulcast something that is already available on CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and the Internet. Maybe run it on one local affiliate for people who don't have cable.
Tyrosine: I'm just surprised that anyone under 70 watches TPIR.
