Dexter is the kind of show with extreme highs and lows - when it's bad, it's awful (e.g. season 6), but when it's good it is amazing (e.g. season 4).

I do think season 7 was an improvement from season 6, but it's time to end it. It's really gone off the rails.

8 seasons too late.

Who needs Dexter when there's Hannibal?

...a crossover would be kinda cool...

NotEric: Bathia_Mapes:  I think season 8 will have a lot to do with tying up loose ends, resolving the whole "Hannah McKay" thing, etc.

I doubt it. Most likely she's already run off into the Argentinean sunset and they won't bother to hire her for the next season (or even mention her again). Add it to a list of unresolved plot lines. And after they revealed she had poisoned Debra (despite dropping several hints that Debra had poisoned herself) I'm glad to see her gone since it seems they had already screwed her character up.

As someone who was a huge fan of the series, I really don't know what the problem is. Too many writers? New writers coming in and not having a grasp on the characters? Lack of direction leading to only a handful of episodes contributing to the season arc?

Why spend so much time on the irrelevant struggles of Angel and Quinn. I don't care about Angel and Bautista's marital troubles. I don't care about Quinn's girl problems because goodbye, Stripper Girl, we'll just be unceremoniously writing you off because this mob side story is over and done with.

They've created such a hollow and empty world, where nothing seems to exist outside of what's on the screen at any one moment. So the babysitter has to work 20+ hour shifts without complaints, and the other kids are shipped off across the world so we never see them (no wait, they're in Orlando, a couple hours away). And everyone else is ignorant of potential serial killers (and their disappearance) because it's no longer the second season.

2-3 good seasons out of 7? Just end it. It's already going the same road as Nip/Tuck, another series I liked until it tragically drove off a cliff.

I also got the feeling that Dexter's sis poisoned herself to get him to turn on Hannah, but IIRC, she admitted to doing it when Dex met her in prison.

Quinn's stripper drama was a waste of time. He was clearly being played, but the dude was too stupid (and drunk) to see it coming. I'm hoping he gets killed off in S8.

As for Angel, I don't mind because I like Angel (and I have a crush on David Zayas), as well as Vince Masuka. I would love an Angel and Masuka spin-off.

Supplies, mohterfarker!

Also, we're gonna stop by the drive thru after work. Want anything with your burger?
