tricycleracer: What derogatory name could a Chinese restaurant put on a white person's bill?
MasterThief: It means "I love you."
seadoo2006: You can sue someone for calling you a bad name ... holy shiat ... I could've been the richest 3rd grader ... EVER ... dammit!
Rembrant_Q_Einstein: Asian people think we smell like cheese.
FirstNationalBastard: tricycleracer: What derogatory name could a Chinese restaurant put on a white person's bill?Roundeye Largepenis?Slab Bulkhead?Big Mclargehuge?Punt SpeedchunkFridge Largemeat?Bob Johnson?
offmymeds: Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown.
Scrotastic Method: I will say this: we just had a bunch of our weeding photos (804 of them) printed by CVS and they looked outstanding. I mean, our photographer was very, very good, and I'm a not-fulltime-pro-but-still-published photographer so I knew to upload the photos at 4x6 @ 300 and all, but still, I'm discriminating and the prints looked great. We rolled the dice on CVS because they were fast and I had a coupon code (thanks Slickdeals) and we couldn't be happier. We stuffed 4 albums for all the family that helped us pay for the wedding.
SuperNinjaToad: theknuckler_33: The suit seeks $1 million in damages. You know, what that person did is wrong and racist and should probably be fired for being a massive douche... but can we get over ourselves as a society please. A million farking dollars for getting a little pissed off at a cashier? Jesus tap-dancing Christ on a cracker![www.jammiewf.com image 265x236]
speciaal: I hate to tell you guys this, but the racist asian jokes are still racist.
DrBreRuthlessVillain: mooseyfate: As well they should. Your behavior isn't acceptable, you should be made to understand that. No amount of fake CVS counseling is going to change their attitude since it's based entirely on ignorance, wether it was passed down in the family or picked up from the environment around them. I'm not going to tolerate someone else's blatant racism just because their parents were pieces of shiat and they were too lazy and/or cowardly to educate themselves. I grew up in an incredibly racist town and let me tell you, it's no way to treat another human.Meh. A better way to go, IMO, is to understand that people are weak/frail enough without having an added artificial weakness for certain words. It took a while, but as a younger half-breed I eventually realized that getting "set off" by some of the words other people sometimes said was ridiculous--especially if you take the idea to its logical conclusion. I'm with you on the idea that racism isn't nice and all, but in the context of a person-to-person interaction isn't it just one of many forms of bad manners? There is a bottomless well of potential litigants if we're going to start letting people collect million-dollar judgements for being on the receiving end of someone else's rudeness.

DROxINxTHExWIND: tricycleracer: What derogatory name could a Chinese restaurant put on a white person's bill?Look, stop trying to find the white equivalent to every instance of racism. There isn't one. Fortunately for your grandparents, in the history of the world most other races haven't had the opportunity or the desire to oppress and label white people. When it did happen to white people it was at the hands of other people. Stop telling people how stupid they are for getting offended because YOU can't be offended with a racial slur. You all should be thankful, not angry.

ShaggyMarrs: Okay lady. Your feelers were hurt but exactly $1,000,000 will take all the pain away? Hmm... uh ras surspishous[encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com image 120x90]
SirEattonHogg: Dubtodalll:I fail to see how anyone deserves financial compensation for something like this.Oh, I 100% agree. However, being Asian and having enjoyed a number of taunts while growing up, I would say the appropriate remedy would be to allow the woman one try at punching the responsible cashier as hard as possible.Or a single kick to the groin, if the cashier is male.
mooseyfate: Goddamnit, mobile Fark keeps losing my posts. The long and short of it: You don't get to be a racist piece of shiat and get away with it anymore in America. Times have changed, and ignorant racists and homophobes need to get with the farking program.
jack21221: I agree that this lady deserves sone compensation for the humiliation of being insulted on a receipt.Surely 20 bucks should do it, right? Maybe 100, tops? I don't see where she gets a million from.
QueenMamaBee: tricycleracer: What derogatory name could a Chinese restaurant put on a white person's bill?Honkey McCracker?
ransack.: TFA fails to mentioning females name being authorizal legal documented recording "Chong, Ching"
