Read the comments:

"Chris Shipton  Senior Consultant at Stowe Group

"This stuff was given away by the people in charge, I was there. This was not looting, please correct or remove this story."

Second post by the same guy:

"What you don't see in this video is right before the people who were selling this stuff came up, dropped off the boxes and said, "here take whatever you guys want". This was not theft or looting."

Jim.Casy: That's pretty much what happened. But this is Fox News, so any chance to make those Boston libs look bad, amiright?

I suppose that, opposed to just giving them away, the reasonable Fox-friendly capitalistic thing would have been for the vendors to triple the price after the blasts.

Way to stay classy folks. People are bleeding and dying in the streets, and the first thing that comes to your mind is what you can steal for profit. Die in a fire.

JohnnyRebel88: This article should be removed from FARK.com if it would like to remain a somewhat "credible resource for information".  If one allows a falsehood to spread, the outlet of information is just as guilty as the creator.

Hypothetically speaking of course, let's all just pretend that the articles of clothing were not left for citizens to take (loot), and had been left behind because the vendor left in fear for his life...  What would of happened to the clothing?  It most likely would of ended up in a  policeman, firefighter, or garbage man's closet.  Would it not?  Or maybe even the trash.

It sickens me that the media would scavenger for something to write in this day in age, such as this piece of trash.  They are all bottom feeders.

If it wasn't for the several posts above disputing and linking other articles to question the professionalism of this piece of trash article, a lie would rapidly spread.  Unfortunately, it already has been let out, and FOX should be ashamed for doing this.  So good on some of you Farkers for pointing this out to others, like myself.

I shook my head in disbelief when I first read the headline, then I saw the video..In the video, after watching it again, I see a man carry a box over and open it for people to take.  Seems odd thing to do for a looter.  They looked as if they were shopping and looking for the right size, not grabbing several at a time.

The media outlets are have become "whores" with their distortions of the truth, thus leaving the believers and followers the "john".

What I would have meant with my vendor goods was "Here, take whatever you need to use to wrap around the places where people lost their limbs and to replace their blown up clothing and to tie into tourniquets  and to do whatever you need to with them to help the injured."  Not put a box on your shoulder and whistle dixie as you walk away.

...as reported by FOX news.

I'll wait until CNN covers it before I believe it.
