SirMadness: Look, I know that I'm going to get a lot of flames for this and a lot of bites or whatever, and I really don't care...

But I would like someone to think and post a thoughtful response...

Dear Anglo-America,

...Why does it only matter when white kids die??

Sincerely,

Canadian Indian.

I'm a Texan, American, native american (chocktaw-cherokee), Irish, German, Scottish, English dude who's lineage in this country goes back to the days of the Mayflower (not that we were on it, but around the time period for reference sake).

I don't know what my lineage has to do with anything, but I agree with you.

Why do kids matter more?  I have two myself (two girls) so I'm not speaking as a young, single person with no concept of death or the world, either.

I think we should be treated all the same because thinking the kids are so much more important (not that any group is better than the other) makes for a falsely entitled population.  Same with women, pretty or otherwise, why do they tend to matter more?

Oh, wait, right...emotional decision-making and ratings...that's what this country has turned to.

(Ending a sentence with a preposition is perfectly fine these days.  Look it up in the Little Brown Book or any other current grammar reference material)

In other words, white.  I really get sick of everyone claiming they are "native american" with some kind of part of Indian blood who are obviously a whiter shade of paleskin.  If you are not part of a tribe don't be claiming you are part of it, it's insulting to us who actually are.

Oh.  I didn't know you knew me or my great-grandfather's number on the rolls.  I'll dig him up and tell him what a liar he is!

And I get sick of people like you claiming to know someone who posts on the internet before you even ask a question to verify your assumption.  I seriously doubt you're on the rolls yourself.

I also wanted to mention to you that the people I talk to call themselves "American Indians"; not the PC term of "native american".

Just FYI.

You mean the ones who the tribe hasn't kicked out yet in order to guarantee a larger share of casino profits?

So you are at best 1/8th blood quantum, assuming that your great grandfather was full.  Plus you claim two tribes, both of which take in anyone no matter how many generations apart, and that's never suspect at all.

My name is on the rolls for an Ojibway tribe in Wisconsin.  I lived on the res, vote in elections, and I'm 1/2.

So go on with your bad self there Chief Running Horse.

The Italian Farker: Ryker's Peninsula: It doesn't matter if the woman doesn't finish, son.
Why is there a picture of you holding a turd?

Looks like a penis as well.

Came here for comments regarding his "Look - I found Shrek's dick!" photo, leaving happy.

Someone has truly pissed in your Racist-O's today.

I say choctaw-cherokee because they say my great grandmother was Choctaw but I never got her information.  Just my Cherokee great grandfather.

I am proud to have my American Indian blood in me just as I am proud to have the other blood running through my veins for various reasons of their various cultures.

I will remain proud and continue stating my heritage, my lineage, my family honor...if you wish to be racist, by all means, do so...but I will remain proud of who I am and where I come from.

This is that last I'll be directing towards your hate because I do not wish to celebrate it.

Wouldn't Aboriginal Americans be the correct term?
