Read between the lines (of coke). It's what he's *not* saying that says it all. And by 'all' I mean what it is or is not being said. Or not. And is.

Maybe.

So says Fox too

An arrest implies he's going to be charged with a crime.  You don't need to do that when you can lock anyone up indefinitely without trial.  I think the media is simply confused.

I've been watching the stream posted earlier in another thread http://boston.cbslocal.com/live-video/  and they (CBS local) is saying an arrest has not been not made.

2013-04-17 02:40:54 PM
The Boston Globe is reporting that a suspect is in custody and is being taken to the courthouse, through that story may change by the time you read the link. Anyway, the story was updated about 10 minutes ago, and it's spashed across the front page of the Globe's website in the "PRESIDENT KENNEDY SHOT IN DALLAS" headline font size.

The suspect was seen buying popcorn at the Texas Theater.

Hell foxnews went even further and siad he was due to be arraigned in a specific federal court this very afternoon, but to be fair that may have been based on an AP report to the same effect....So I think we have an answer that in the never-ending journalistic battle between speed and accuracy, being fater has now  defintively taken the title for all time...

2013-04-17 02:43:03 PM
Far beat it from the news media to actually get their facts straight.  They are all about BEING THE ONES THAT BROKE THE STORY FIRST!  They would rather report it and possibly get it right (then retract it if they were wrong), than actually waste precious time making sure what they are reporting is true.

Sad state of affairs.

2013-04-17 02:43:13 PM
this Twitter style reporting is exhausting.

They had two sources. The problem is that, from the sound of things, those sources were flimsy at best.
