Hm... which commandment did he obey, not including the commandments that do not apply to this situation?  Was it the one about killing?  Because it sounds like it was merely an accident that he didn't break that one.

None of this would have happened if the kid had Jesus in his life or if the parents had guns - oh, wait...

What responsible gun owners. What, keeping their guns AND ammo in reach of children.

FTFA:The 15-year-old's anger grew until Friday night when he went to his parent's nightstand and took out a .9-mm pistol.

/facepalm.

Seriously though, dumbfarks...you know you have an emotionally disturbed kid, yet you left a loaded weapon and bullets in an unlocked drawer in the nightstand? They're lucky they didn't end up like Nancy Lanza.

Another sociopath kid with stupid parents:  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/13/nathon-brooks-teen-shot-pare n ts-video-games_n_2868805.html

Without trying to turn this into another Fark gun thread, I regret that we blew the perfect opportunity to actually try and prevent gun violence by promoting safety and responsibilty-especially around kids, instead of tilting at windmills and trying to push a ban that has no chance of passing.

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing, but am so tired of fighting with my fellow gun enthusiasts about whether or not we should all prove we're not idiots through mandated firearms training and testing before purchase because of easy firearm accessibility for the true idiots, I let it go.

If you are going to keep a handgun in your nightstand, tell the kids the nightstand has your sex toys in it.  I would've never went to my parents' night stand for any reason.  I still don't know what they kept in that thing.

/Now Mosaic Law calls for the execution of this kid
//I am okay with that.

Spare the rod and spoil the child?

Wonder if he just really wanted to get out of his parents house, cause he was clearly not among to kill.

The son of ANOTHER RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNER heard from.

At least he didn't take it to school.

Can parents be charged with anything or do we have to wait for Sonny Boy to kill his girlfriend?
