That's going to make it much easier to introduce their new (standard) 11.2 oz cans. No one will hardly notice.

FTA:

"The Budweiser bow tie first appeared in national advertisements in 1956. The brewery says the bow tie look was introduced when too many consumers were using the term "Bud" when ordering the beer in a bar. So the company added the double triangles to emphasize the full Budweiser name. "

Well apparently the result failed. Especailly since their marketing was self-defeating anyhow...

Though it could have gone in a much worse direction. Imagine if people had latched onto the trapezoidal-esque logo and started calling it that with the inevitable shortening of the name. What kind of beer are you drinking?

Yeah, but the top one in that photo, with the little slots on the ring? You could snap them in half, put the springy tab into the slot, and launch the ring like a flying saucer and it would fly about 20 feet.

Stevia is all-natural isn't it?  I can make some great zero calorie sweet tea with it.

Stevia is produced naturally by a plant, so it's technically not artificial I guess. I think it's a bullshiat technicality, as it's a chemical that is not sugar that mimics sweetness, but I don't work for the FDA. It sure tastes just as bad as aspartame or sucralose though.

This is kinda cool, pointless, but cool.  People who don't like it still won't buy it, no matter what shape you make the can.

I found out that they only served Budweiser at Old Trafford (the stadium where Manchester United play) and I was really excited when I went there the first time. Unfortunately, it did not turn out to be the Budvar version.

Lol. Though I'm at a stage in life where I prefer a decent beer, good wine, and very good whiskey, I still grab malt liquor fairly often. It's almost always when I'm out and about in the daytime, completely sober and annoyed by that fact. So I'll pop into a deli or convenience store, bypassing all the Buds, et al, and head straight for the ghetto shelf. Colt, Mickey's, Steel Reserve - I don't care as long as I can chug it and actually feel like smiling as opposed to the crushing disappointment Budweiser delivers.

CSB: You can drink on the streets in New Orleans. One day a tourist saw me walking down St. Charles Ave., dressed in impeccable business style, while chugging a 24oz. Steel Reserve. For some reason she found this hilarious and asked me to pose for a pic. I remember thinking, "What sort of half-assed alcoholics does this chick have in her town?"
