Same here, as long as it was one of those gruesome accidents where the person re-materializes wrong but is still alive for a few moments of agony, not one of those ones where they just don't come back.  That would have been too easy.

As opposed to when he was all scholarly, teaching Wesley the finer points of warp mechanics and intergalactic snotnosedness, and not constantly waving a phaser, bat'leth, or dk'tagh around?

It's weird to realize just how genuinely nice of a person that actress is, too.

Yeah, yeah, I know, "I guess that's why it's called acting."

I couldn't stand Pixie Dax until I found the show on Netflix again and decided it was worth rewatching.  I got over it.

Yeah, I just rewatched the whole series. As with all 'Trek some of the episode were so "OMG THEY WOULD NEVER REALLY DO THAT ... BLAH BLAH" but overall I enjoyed it.

It was fun to notice some of the tech items and recognize that I was watching a TV show from before the thing existed in the real world. Like the data pads, which we now know as tablets.

I also recently saw the pilot episode for the original 'Trek, that original communicator was HUGE.

I honestly thought the Klingon story-lines were the worst part about DS9. Every time they showed up I was like god damn it next episode...

They were still better then Wesley Crusher or Holodeck episodes...

Really thought the O'Brien, O'Brien/Bashir, and Ferrangi episodes were the strongest.  Would really like to see a new ST series w/ Rom in it.

I loved in one of the first episodes after Worf joined the cast, him and O'Brien were reminiscing about their days on the Enterprise, and Worf says "Those were they days.  There was nothing we couldn't do", and O'Brien replies "Yeah, except get the damned holodeck to work right."

Dax was never Bashir's girl, she wasn't into him.

I was always pissed that Bashir was nailing Nana Visitor in real life.

I don't really have the strongest STNG memories, although I was younger then and didn't watch them all. I'll give you the Quark/Klingon episodes, although really I think it's because they had Quark. Dax's Klingon escapades were mostly... meh. Worf really just got annoying after the first few.
