iheartscotch: iheartscotch: Technically..... It's only prostitution if money changes hands.
/ not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV and I didn't stay at a holiday inn express last night.

No idea what New Mexico law is, but I'd think the rule is "something of value" is exchanged, not just "money"?

Bartering services-for-services would be more difficult to charge, but if they had both just followed the first 2 rules (never volunteer information to cops, never consent to a search), they'd have been fine.

Big Ramifications: Abacus9:
I don't think he considered it especially partisan one way or the other, which is why he put your phrase in quotes.  And if you re-read his post, he wasn't mocking poor people, he was mocking people who are too good to eat at McDonald's.
~
....by mocking poor people.

Jeez, I'd like to be able to clearly mock people in a post and have someone come in all White Knight and defend me, saying I wasn't *really* mocking them. If you're gonna split hairs like that, and argue semantics, and give benefit of the doubt, then I better up-stumps regarding this debate.

And I appreciate the point you made before the bit I bolded. Cheers!

Lighten up- it's a McDonalds thread. Go back to the politics tab, douchbag.

Lick my balls. I was just explaining my thought processes to a chap who had a go at me. I used like terms from his comment in my explanation. This puts me as a rogue Political Tab escapee, eh?

Explained very badly, I might add, regarding my quote above. And only because you got me back here commenting redsquid, I will re explain to the 5 people left reading this thread. What I meant to say [say to Abacus9, not to you redsquid, it's not all about you] waaas:
~
Big Ramifications FTFM:
redsquid mocked poor people as a comedy vehicle. Sarcastically mocked poor people as a comedy vehicle to ACTUALLY MOCK the type of person who would say such a thing. Naturally, I assumed he was taking the p!ss out of Right Wing types. Who else would speak of poor people so disdainfully?

redsquid, however, claims he was taking the p!ss out of Left Wing types. Not drawing this bizarre conclusion from his comment made me "stupid" in his eyes.

~
Don't get cute and try and bullshait me redsquid, your comment clearly invoked a class warfare political angle for absolutely no reason.... and I took the bait. I have replied to both of your politically-themed comments, and both times it's been me who is accused of being a political troll. Absolutely farking love your work. Both of ya.

Why would you say that? Why not state that you picked this woman up started talking and she said she was hungry so I bought her some food and she wanted to thank me.

I can't say that I wouldn't do it.  But she'd have to be pretty amazingly hot for me to have to eat SickDonald's food.

I mean, we're talking Alyson Hannigan hot here.
