OH trust me, he may have escaped getting fined, but he's probably on double secret probation at this point.

/he should've gone for the gold and said the obvious:  the #48 gets away with murder
//unless its at Daytona; there's new officials that haven't been paid off yet

Are we even clear on which way over that line (left to right, right to left) they have to cross it?

They have to stay under the line.

Top to bottom, unless it's the 5th Tuesday in a month, at which time it becomes left to right, or the third Tuesday in a month, in which case it is from upper left corner to lower right corner.

He's the new #48?

Why fine him for his comments on Monday you can drop the hammer on him for his rear-end housing on Wednesday?

Okay, once upon a time I watched NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt fan), but can one seriously claim that it's "the most intense racing in the world" with a straight face?

At least he didn't mention all the fake debris cautions.

No.  Unless you paid me millions of dollars.

Good thing Brad never said anything about everyone driving mostly near identical sticker carts or he may have gotten in trouble.

I guess it is different when you are the reigning champion of the series and the org wants to use you for promotions as the champ.

you do realize what Stock car means right?

As far as this deal it isn't as unclear as you guys are pretending. the rule is do not insult the Gen 6 cars in any way. Brad didn't say anything about the cars so he was fine.

NASCAR did screw up with Hamlin though, his comments were so mildly critical that most of us barely registered them when he said them. Their heavy handed punishment brought more negative attention to both the cars and the sport than Denny did.

Ya know, NASCAR likes to promote BK as their "hip plugged in Twitter guy", but if you read his tweets where he expresses personal opinion.. you realize he's kind of stupid.

Like, not "I disagree with him" stupid, but "he spent all of his time in race cars as a kid instead of learning things in school" stupid.

havocmikeLike not "I disagree with him" stupid, but "he spent all of his time in race cars as a kid instead of learning things in school" stupid.

It's not like he doesn't use that stuff on the job...+ he used his Penske winnings to pay off his family's racing team debts.  Plus anybody from Detroit who tweets they bought their couch @ Big Lots is OK in my book

I think the difference was, Hamlin was being a whiney sissy little biatch... and Brad was acting like a man.

2013-04-16 01:41:50 PM
So uhh... Did they give the rear end housings back or will the team be fined for using illegal parts?

Yeah, but Unauthorized Finger answered you perfectly.
Enjoy your sticker carts. Buy as told.
