Figures they'd jump the gun. Saudi even. Thanks trolls. Like we need any more fire stoking.

Let's just link to reputable sources, shall we?

If you can't trust the New York Post, who can you trust?

2013-04-15 05:33:08 PM
Like I said in the nuked thread, it's probably a McVeigh type person.

2013-04-15 05:33:45 PM
Why the hell is the Post still allowed to call themselves news?

Wadded Beef: Let's just link to reputable sources, shall we?

This is Fark, Half of all links go to NYPost, Daily Mail or Yahoo! News.

If there are Saudis involved, the best thing for us to do is attack Sudan.

That's my guess. Some fringe freak railing about taxes?

2013-04-15 05:35:08 PM
It's amazing how much different the story the Post is running with than what everyone else has. They have 12 dead and this supposed Saudi suspect.

And they've had it for a while. Once something like that is out, other news organizations are quick to confirm. I mean, I know it's the Post, but can they really be that brazen or incompetent? As an alternative, can they really be that much better at reporting than everyone else?

Still time to find a way to blame Rush Limbaugh, folks!

/wonder if there was a security guard that noticed something off, but then realized he'd just get the Richard Jewell treatment

2013-04-15 05:35:21 PM
Meh; if you arrest him now, you've got to explain to somebody the reason why they look like the got run over by a train.

Can we just attack the New York Post?

Never, EVER, believe what the NY Post says.  Ever.  I can't stress this enough.

Patriot's Day + Tax Day?  that could be a bad combo to push someone over the edge

my first thoughts too, unfortunately.

This is what you get with the NY Post.  If you want headlines that push the boundaries of good taste, that's where you go.  For reliable breaking news, go elsewhere.

Who's surprised by this?

The New York Post wouldn't act solely for the sake of being sensational and to grab people's attention, would they?

To be fair, the Post is a shiatty paper.

WHAT did Obama know about this Saudi national?

WHEN did he know it?

2013-04-15 05:44:09 PM
I was going to say, I can't find another source that says 12 dead, just 2.  Please link to reputable sources...

2013-04-15 05:44:09 PM
They still have 12 dead on their website.

Reminds me of a certain election a few years back...

News reporting is so last century, now it's news creating.

2 or 12 in the middle of a crowd with multiple devices, still a shiatty score. Bet he blames lag.

Under arrest doesn't mean not in custody.  They may still have someone under guard at the hospital, just not want to have to pay for the hospital stay.

Boston Police: no arrests have been made re: NYPost article at New York Post for total bullshiat article

FTFY Subs...

Seriously, this farked up thing called "modern day journalism" needs to be doused in gasoline and set on fire. This Post bullshiat is a perfect example of why.

Funnily enough TFA says that they might actually have someone in custody.

NY Post was right one who got injury / death counts even close to right.

2013-04-15 05:51:20 PM
I'm surprised the Post didn't ID the perp as Batboy

2013-04-15 05:54:04 PM
I'll reserve judgment until The Daily Mail weighs in on the suspect and his relation to Kim Kardashian's weight gain.

This will likely be some asshole right wing fringe "patriot".

2013-04-15 05:56:11 PM
FWIW, a few other places are reporting a "possible suspect" being guarded by police, including NBC News.

Yeah, there's a lot of celebrating the Post being wrong when they didn't say anyone had been arrested either.  They said a person was under guard, which is the same thing several news outlets are reporting.
