Didn't they announce the winners of this like a month ago?

Do any under-thirties know who Rebel Wilson is?

Maybe not, but one thing's for sure: They'll instantly realize that she's the Aussie version of Melissa McCarthy. Hearty laughter and/or regurgitation will then ensue.

Does anyone over 30 actually watch this dreck and if so why?

I'm over 40 and I never heard of her before the The Bridesmaids movie.

Idc because I'll be watching Game of Thrones.

I don't watch the show anymore. I just read up on it the next day, to see all the horrible outfits. Nothing wacky ever happens anymore.

Finally a thread where I can feel secure in my desire to say, "who the fark gives a shiat you tweeny shiat?"

I saw the signs up for this in Times Square. I'm 34 and I don't know who she is. I thought she was the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.

It's funny how the Venn diagram of Mtv Movie awards and the Razzies is almost a perfect circle.

I take it as a mark of pride that I had absolutely no clue that this was happening before you said so,  subby.

The only difference is Melissa is not funny, and Rebel was hilarious in Pitch Perfect. Plus she isn't getting shoved down our throats like Miss McCarthy.

I have watched both "Pitch Perfect" and several episodes of "Go On," and I refuse to believe that Rebel Wilson and Sarah Baker are not the same person.

I don't know anyone under 30 who watches it either. In fact, I don't know anyone who watches MTV, period. It's fallen completely off my pop culture radar.

How the hell did you Americans let Rebel Wilson make it big? We got rid of her for a reason.

I'm honestly surprised MTV is still on the air. Just a shell of it's former self, makes 'SyFy' look halfway decent.

Bill Simmons and a significant number of his readers do, because he brings it up in his mail bags and reality tv ratings.

/MTV served its purposes in the late 80s and 90s.  It can go die now.

The list of nominees is quite amusing, nearly snorked my coke at the Best Male Performance category.

/"Best Shirtless Performance" was worth a few good lulz, as well

Rebel Wilson is the token fat girl role so Hollywood can say they are diversifying body type. But say she has a health scare and loses weight? Well, the tabloids will fawn over her for health reasons, but the acting roles will dry up. Same with Melissa McCarthy.

Adele will get by fine because she is a singer in a genre that values talent over looks.

My 23 year old ass first heard about this chick from seeing the commercial for this crappy award show. The last time MTV was relevant to (the male part of) my generation was 10 years ago when Eminem and Britney Spears had a bunch of videos in rotation, they actually had original content shows, and Real World and Road Rules were the only reality shows. I think Jersey Shore was the one show people my age got into since then, mainly because it was hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

Ed Willy:

???

I agree she'll get by on talent, but she's a rare exception in pop music. I guess things are kind of changing in the talent department but there hasn't been too been many famous big chicks in music in the last 30 years. Then again, the internet is killing the video star, so we might actually start getting more mainstream music that doesn't care about looks.

Yeah, I think I realized MTV had become the shiatty teen girl network before I was 20...and that was 10 years ago. They used to be cool, but when only 14 year old girls think you're cool, you're not cool.

2013-04-14 11:51:34 PM

7th Son of a 7th Son: I would lick the cottage cheese that forms between Rebel Wilson's folds. I would also eat the corn out of her shiat and suck the pus out of her cellulitic ridden undercarriage.

Damn son, you got some farked up fetishes.

I watched "Snow White and the Huntsmen" tonight, and was kind of blown away how little range Kristen Stewart has as an actor. Plus, she is not pretty enough to be Snow White.

I'm 31 and haven't looked at MTV since I was about 15. But I heard Tom Hiddleston would be there and I love that man so I tuned in... Everything else about this show is hideously stupid and I think I lost a few IQ points, but I regret nothing.
