I had a lot of the pregame cut by an Amber Alert; someone with a temporary Texas plate heading possibly towards Chicago.

I don't know why I get Chicago-area Amber Alerts in an area that sits between the Madison and Milwaukee markets.

Thanks to the lovely and kind admin ;-)

Can't believe the telecast hasn't shown a word about Penske getting busted on the 22 and 2 cars and having to replace the entire rear-end for both cars (currently going on still).

He Who Shall Not Be Named is part Indian on his mother's side.  He doesn't talk about it much.

In other news, today I got a couple of chances to play the NASCAR Arcade game from Sega that came out in 2000, so that means you get the drivers from around that time. So I figured, why not, Smoke in his Grand Prix configuration --

i1245.photobucket.com
Only problem was, the gas pedal DID NOT WORK. So I said something about the real-life situations they put into this game with JGR Toyota engines and had a good laugh.

I went to another place that had an interesting setup -- it was displayed on a flatscreen HDTV, so it's like you're really watching Fox Sports!

i1245.photobucket.com

I chose everyone's favorite racing voice, Mr. Boogidy!

This setup worked better and I had a better result.

I also noticed they had the CART racing arcade game -

So I picked Fark's favorite hazard causer, JPM

O HAI TKAT!  And for a little motivation after last week's debacle, I have Emperor Palpatine standing by.

That was funny watching Micheal try to keep up with Kyle in the Camaro convertible.

I caught it last week too. It was equally uncomfortable, and perhaps a bit creepier. I guess they do it every week.

Will writing 48 on a piece of paper and shiatting on it work as well?

Lucky person you!  My local mall finally removed the Sega Daytona arcade game.  Cool times I had with that game over the past couple of decades!

My ideal race involves Smoke winning, Logano whining about something pathetic, and Dale finishing in the top five. Oh and Mark Martin finishing well never hurt anyone either

Seriously... not a single word about Nascar forcing the removal of the entire rear-ends for both the 22 and 2 cars, happened not even 2 hours ago... ???

It pretty much asploded without having stones.  They also saw some sort of adhesions on my liver, which was curious since I've never had abdominal surgery before, and I haven't had alcohol in about four years now, and even then wasn't much of a drinker.

BTW Sara Evans is owning the anthem!

About 4 years ago, the bar near my house added that NASCAR game.  I played the hell of that for two weeks until it broke and they replaced it with a cheap claw game.  Always went with #20.

Dayum. That applies to the singing and Dale's girlfriend.

No, but I did encounter Daytona USA 2 -- with a "better" soundtrack from 80s sensation Winger (so the story goes).

What was wrong with the rear ends of Team Penske that obviously gave them an advantage over Team Hendrick?
