Okay, that was dumb but you still have to appreciate his attempts to modernize his country by using light rock music in the background of the video rather than the stuffy old square stuff his Dad liked.

No shiat.  If they fire along that path, the rocket will run out of fuel before it reaches Guam.

Yeah, but if they drop out of the sky and hit Guam they might tip it over.

Why is a country allowed to actively make missile plans against a country and it's not considered an act of war?

They've been saying stuff like this for a long time now.

I remember when they started up their nuclear program in earnest back in 2002-2003,I think with the stated intention of creating a weapon to attack the U.S. Then we invaded Iraq "because."

I think that every time North Korea issues a threat President Obama should call a 30-second press conference in which he simply says "Shut the fark up you bloated dog-eating pygmy.  I'm responding to you directly not because I take you seriously but because it is the duty of all adults to correct children when they're out of line.  By the way, we're cutting off all imports of polyester fabrics, Preparation H, and barbers who can only cut high-top fades."

Not sure it would matter if it was.
Technically, we are still at war with these guys. The only way to be more at war is to start blowing stuff up again, which would be bad.

/Shoulda bombed the shiat out of that place when his father started up his nukes program.
/Then we could have spent the last two decades the same way we spent the previous three, by ignoring them.

Go ahead and go after Barkadale AFB. There is plenty of bombers and missiles from there alone to flatten BK. Heck, some of them are probably already in Guam.

You know there was a joke back when Austin was targeted people were wondering if the Dear Leader had some beef with SXSW for rejecting a indie film project of his. But now the target is Colorado Springs. Home of the Indie Spirit film festival. Maybe those guys who were kidding are actually onto something. If the next targeted city is Park City, Utah I think we should see if there was an overlooked North Korean film entry.

So, their missles were subsidized by Delta? The chances of the missles actually launching successfully  just got cut in half.

B/c then the US would be at war w/ everyone. I'm pretty sure there's some dusty old binder buried in the back end of the Pentagon that outlines a nuclear strategy for every corner of the globe.

Why does it shows the missiles go from the farthest to the nearest target? Is it a N.K. thing to show the most impressive feat at the beginning and follow with less and less impressive feat (or wishful thinking)? I'm surprised that the video did not finish with them showing that they can even hit targets as near as Japan.

Looks like he confused Barksdale AFB, where many bombers are kept, with Colorado Springs.

Just wondering, if SK were to sink one of their ships or subs what would happen?  Would NK bluster, shoot missiles into the ocean, and yada yada yada some more?  They CANNOT go into a full fledged shooting war and win.   It seems like a possible positive course for SK is to whittle away at the threats as NK says "You're REALLY GONNA GET IT"

Cool cartoon, man! The synth intro and screaming metal guitar lick was awesome, but the newspaper montage was overly done and the graphics looked like you stole them from CBS News.

That was a kid's cartoon, right? Korea Rangers World Police?

It seems to me that they haven't even tested a nuke capable of even denting the mountain that NORAD sits inside even if they drove it up to the front gate and pretended to be a Dominoes pizza delivery guy.

I don't subscribe to the "bomb the shizz out of that place" anymore.  Someone mentioned earlier, it would be like bombing kittens/puppies - those people are so poor and hungry.  China will take care of this.  Also, go Colrouisana!!

*puts on tinfoil hat*

So what if we have this whole thing backwards?  What if NK's sabre rattling is actually secretly at the behest of the United States (or we're the ones making up a lot of the rhetoric), in order to justify moving controversial "defense" systems into Asia?

I mean... you cant argue that this perfectly lands US interests into the one corner of the world that still stands a chance of resisting American Influence.
