Until we get such a thing as Fusion drive systems that actually produce an appreciable amount of thrust (I'm looking at you Ion drives), any men sent to Mars are going to come back very irradiated.

The Russians also announced that they would begin testing a new emergency device to protect their cosmonauts while in space, describing it as "a huuuge pilla'".
