Fizpez: A fly touched the hamburger meat!!! My god....If that was the standard I'd have to throw away... pretty much everything I've every cooked outside... no, make that everything I've ever cooked outside.
darch: My wife and I have traveled to many places in all our years together, both posh and... not so posh. Flying certainly sucks the big one but it's a temporary thing. We just have NEVER been able to understand why folks would embark on a cruise.I see the words "sneeze guard" and I'm OUT.
utsagrad123: On the plus side, they're running some good specials right now.
Bondith: Why isn't there a course that these MBA weasels take that says skimping on health and safety is a bad idea? That superfluous cutting costs is good, but basic sanitation isn't one of those. I mean, it seems like basic common sense, yet we see disaster after disaster where a corporation failed to maintain basic health, safety and maintenance and then had it blow up in their face.
Enemabag Jones: That was the cockroach cluster.Wait until they try the crunchy frog.
Little_Dictator: Bondith: Why isn't there a course that these MBA weasels take that says skimping on health and safety is a bad idea? That superfluous cutting costs is good, but basic sanitation isn't one of those. I mean, it seems like basic common sense, yet we see disaster after disaster where a corporation failed to maintain basic health, safety and maintenance and then had it blow up in their face.Perhaps it's not necessarily a direct attempt on their part to do a shiatty job on health and safety. The big thing is seeing how much you can do with the fewest amount of people, even if that means grinding them into dust to do so. The company thinks it's saving tons of money by not hiring the proper amount of people to do the jobs that need doing and offloading it to the current lot of poor bastards, when in fact they're shooting themselves in the foot. When you're some guy with his boss breathing down his neck and you have the work of two or three people to do, guess what? shiat gets half-assed, because even the idea of having the time to get all of that work done is completely laughable. Thus food related surfaces and equipment don't get cleaned correctly, machines don't get proper maintenance, etc. The result of bean counters who've never done a days work on the ground floor of whatever business they're involved in.
Glitchwerks: I don't know what a cockroach nymph is, and I'm too scared to search it.
Bondith: /And then the people in charge suffer absolutely no consequences
uncleacid: Why are my raisins moving?
Fano: Roach nymphs? Is that like a voodoo lady?
ICDedPpl: I'm so glad I booked my Carnival cruise before all this crap started. Still going for it, though. YOLO!
