Farking Nickelodeon...

They should damn well know that Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life aren't kid's shows any longer, and that the only people buying the DVDs and watching them on TV are 20 and 30-somethings who grew up watching the uncensored versions of the episodes.

I liked the one where the went to the dude ranch.
Heffer had to say good-bye to the milking machine.

And none of them were as funny as Barney's 'three heads' joke in the Flintstones

But if they didn't halfway censor things how would children learn what's shocking?

Yeah basically me too. I did laugh at a few but I've seen funnier.

It's the jokes that they weren't telling that made it hilarious.

In all seriousness though, most of those were throw-away, "Let's see if anyone notices this" types.

One of the guys behind the Rocko show went on to create Phineas and Ferb.

AKA, bored animators.

In any case, you can blame Rugrats for destroying nickelodeon. That show hit huge, and they shifted the target demo from mid-teens to pre-teen almost overnight.

Animaniacs and Rocko were the big two for me. I rewatched the whole spiel from front to back and it was like seeing it all for the first time again... except infinitely funnier because I'm not a kid now.

Not Rocko, and not Nickelodeon, but . . .

I was shocked when I saw Sara Bellum's address on Power Puff Girls.
