In Florida, Moonfisher?  At a bank?  I kind of doubt it.  Large chain restaurants?  That might be a different story.

Moonfisher: Countdown to the follow-up saying the teller was fired...

Fortunately this incident did not occur in California, where the cashier would be arrested for illegally possessing a firearm.

Yup.  It's just money.  Insured money.  What if he'd jumped over the counter and the gun went off in the fracas?  What if he'd pulled out his other gun?

Personally, if I were shot in the fracas, it would most likely take the fight right out of me.

When someone is pointing a gun at you, its not just money.  Its your life.

People who rob banks (or armed robbery in general) are not exactly sane, reasonable people who will properly apply logic to the situation. The very act of committing the crime implies they lack proper decision making abilities.

Someone pulls a gun on you and the only thing you know is that they're threatening you with a gun.  You're trusting your life to someone who has already proven that they have disregard for the rule of law and your life.  I'll take my chances.

That reminds me, I've got to find the address for the local Minimally-Invasive Fracas Surgery Hospital in my area, for just such an occasion.

If I was going to shoot someone, I'd aim for the fracas as well.  People rarely get up, once they get shot in the fracas.

If it's a local bank; she won't have to worry. If its a big national bank however; she'll get dropped like Britney Spears' baby.

/ and then she'll date a talentless Dbag

Yeah, like making the teller fill the bag so that you can stay focused on keeping the only advantage you have. It's just sad when you're considered stupid even for Floridian white trash standards.

Guys hear about that guy who was hired to protect a school who left the gun in the bathroom yesterday? All the more reason to arm teachers!

You shoot him with the one you just took off of him. What the fark do you think a gun is for?

How much you want to bet the gun is registered in his name too...?

I think we can all agree that "fracas" is a pretty cool word, and should be used more often.
