The aquifer that the city of Olympia draws water from (and likely Tumwater and whatever the hellhole is east of Oly.. Lacey?) is some of the best around. I encourage everyone that can to hit up the parking lot in the middle of town that has access to the water. It used to be a random pipe sticking out in the parking lot, but I think they re-did the area around it or something. It was always easy to find back in the mid-90's since all you had to do was spot the 10 hippies milling around the spigot filling up jugs and jugs of water.

/the Fish Bowl was my first micro-brewery experience.

I see through Bigfoot's monster coatings to the gentle loner inside. I bet he has a wounded raccoon friend that he tenderly nurses back to health while he goes "coo". But in the end they shoot him. But he teaches us about things.

Forgive me, but is Olympia part of the scum sucking low life group that pbr owned the copyright for like lone star? for and had contract people brew for them? The people that royally screwed pabst employees/retirees and died due to pabst reneging on everything contract negotiated? That at least Miller Brewing required pabst before they signed a contract brewing for them demanded that pabst paid into the union retirement fund what they owed? (Something like $13 million?)
Remember hipsters. PBR killed people.

The yeti, now nicknamed Buddha, proves to be very intelligent and human-like, even capable of weaving a necklace and utter "Namaste", and overall a very nice fellow; Buddha comes to dress perfectly as a human, shake Jimmy Carter's hand, assist George in cycling through the Kathmandu streets and be offered a baseball cap. While Freds lures their pursuers away, George and Buddha go on a bus and air trip in order to bring Buddha back to the wild.

The local Olympia WA water treatment plant raised their waste water rates so high (even though the brewery's waste water was cleaner than tap water) that the brewery, which was under sized/high cost  vs modern breweries like A-B and Miller, called it quits.

Now the beer is brewed under license by General Brewing or some "house hold" label. And still tastes like having sex in a canoe.

Came here to see if anyone actually knows history, since the answer is no

Here you go

George W. Bush  a brave compassionate conservative black man traveled the Oregon trail, because in the progressive state of Missouri did not want him to vote.  Technically Bush's father born in India, was of African decent, but his mother was an Irish maiden.

after much hardship and injustice Bush decided to get the heck out of that hell hole, so he kickstarted a campaign and raised funding for some wagons and some horses, and promised some friends a great beer party in portlandia if they would come with him.

After four more months of indians and other wild creatures Bush got to the great Portlandia, sadly it turned out that he had underestimated the hatred of freedom which had spread even to the ends of the continent.

When the Bush convoy reached the Oregon Country, but found that the hipsters and other liberals had just passed laws which forbid Bush from owning any land or even his guns.

Fortunately Bush was connected to a british company called Hudsons Bay.  They told him if he would just cross the river and get to the other side, he could settle into the virgin territory just north. They said while it would be dangerous, but that there was lots of wild beaver, and no known political weasels.

Bush crossed the river and eventually settled in tumwater and soon after started drinking the water. The same water which would someday be used to brew the Fine Olympia Beer we know today.
WE still do not know if  "It Was the Water", or perhaps something more, but after a time Bush thought that he had built successful logging business, sawmill, even a town, when suddenly a group of politicians got together and told him that "he didn't build this"    To this day there are legends of how he haunted the territorial legislature in Olympia until they him unambiguous title to all his forest lands.

Thank god we have mandated fluoride in the water today

I could probably bring in a Bigfoot, but that beer company would be terribly disappointed.
Bigfoot are the descendants of the few Clovis Indians who survived the extinction event 13,000 years that wiped out almost all of the megafauna here on the continent. The reason they look the way they do is because of population bottlenecks. Some of them aren't even aware that they are Bigfoot.
Back in the early 1980s, there was a Bigfoot sighting in the flood canals in Burbank, California. The Press Telegram newspaper sent out a reporter and a photographer to cover the story. And guess what? They found the Bigfoot!
The Bigfoot was a big (7'+) hairy aborigine who had come down from the north to winter it out here in Southern California. When he wasn't foraging for food in the flood canals, he would sometimes go to a soup kitchen. All the Bigfoot wanted was to be left alone, so after the reporter got his story and the photographer got his pictures, the Bigfoot said goodbye and went back home.
