As a parent of a 7 month old, this is not a surprise. (and from having seen baby birds yell at their parents)

And how is this different from the Republicans under the Obama administration where they are able to extract sops to keep them from destroying the country?

My kids don't throw tantrums in public because they don't get away with them at home SUBBY.

I saw this last summer. The titmice that frequent our feeder had a youngling who was making quite the spectacle of himself. Sitting on the ground, squawking/screeching for his parents to bring him more seed.

Reminded me of a teenager- "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME!"

So, a behavior is similar among species that actively rear their young, rather than leave them to their own devices for survival.

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Next you'll tell me we find a baby's cry distressing because in the not so distant past it could alert a predator (or pillaging marauder) to our ancestor's location.
