I thought everyone knew that.

I know it is easy and funny to just dismiss this out of hand, because it sounds crazy, and sounds highly unlikely, but I don't.

I leave open the possibility that this is all an elaborate hoax, and if it is, they did go to great lengths with both time and money. And then Dr. Steven Greer, disgraced himself and gave up a career in medicine to con people.

On the other hand, this being is supposedly having it's DNA studied by an independent scientist to study it. So it is either time to put up or shut up.

If you don't know who Dr. Greer is, he is the one that organized the original "Disclosure Project" in May of 2001, where he assembled 20-some government, military, and other private individuals that went to the DC Press Corps to all tell their stories at one time, to the press and asked for congressional investigation.

A guy named Bruce DePalma, MIT and Harvard educated, invented such a machine, and had it independently tested by a Stanford professor, and was harassed out of the country.

It always amuses me when this comes up in conspiracy theory discussions.
But when's the last time a technological breakthrough in energy or engines was something "any Joe could reproduce"?

The oil company conspiracy is peak oil and selling the public on the bogus idea that oil is scarce, while using a cartel to limit production. Oil and gas are not "fossil fuels," they are hydrocarbons that were made from the Earth like coal and diamonds. NASA found lakes of oil on Saturn's moon Titan in 2008.
