If McDonald's workers were judged by those same criteria every hamburger than didn't look like the one on the menu would be counted as an error. As would every one that the customer dropped on the floor.

From an ad for Crazy TV Lenny's appliance business in Green Bay, a couple of decades ago. Was it American TV and Appliance? Something like that. I'm happy enough not remembering which stupid movie I had to watch most of in order to snap the picture.

This. Successful hamburger-making doesn't rely on patient compliance with after-care instructions.
