He's thinking of Margaret Dumont.

Well that was shallow and pedantic.

He was the cock of the walk, before Liam Neeson and John Hamm came around, apparently.

He'll always be Major Baklava to me!

There was a joke in there?

We do the "oh, a piece of candy" joke all the time at home...

Still hasn't gotten old.

This thread reminds me of that time I auditioned for the part of Vickie from Small Wonder with Jamie Lee Curtis

Don't care. I love that man. He is a high watermark in acting. My two cents. I remember when he was playing bit parts as a street hood when he was really young. Jeff Goldblum was also cast as a two bit punk in some famous movies when he was an up coming. Love Jeff Goldblum too. Some days I just love everybody.

Sorry, don't get it, is it a cultural reference to one of his films I haven't seen (or forgotten)?

It is, among other things, an ET reference. Which James Woods was not in.

Can't we consider this as definitive proof that Family Guy is asinine?

As a self-admitted ass, I LIKE asinine.

I love James Woods Family Guy eps. It's silly fun. Probably my fav is where they cast JW in Brian's dramatic TV pilot.

Played poker with him in a single table tournament a few years ago.  He loves to talk.  As long as he's talking about him.

I don't know. There was this time Tom Snyder talked about himself then James Woods talked about Tom Snyder:

These 2 posts cancel each other out.  He's constantly playing poker these days and talking.  I haven't sat at his table but apparently he's not shy about whom or what he discusses.

He was on my immediate left.  I don't think he took a breath.  I didn't even let on I knew who he was at first (if I was famous, I'd want to be left alone as much as possible), but he kept rattling on.  Even after I said, "Weren't you in that one cartoon?"

Never missed a beat...me me me me me....

I played 1 table over from him at the Bellagio once.
I could hear him chatting up the table from there.

Then his very young, surgically enhanced girlfriend entered the room wearing a skin tight t-shirt that said "I love my boyfriend" and I was too distracted to care what he had to say anymore.

I'll come right out and admit that the reason I think Family Guy is often funny is because it is so incredibly stupid.  Caught the episode where Peter fakes Quagmire's death and pretends to have a toy dinosaur eat him while he hums the theme to Jurassic Park on tv the other day and I cracked up.

I eagerly await the lengthy treatise on why me finding that funny makes you better than me, rest of Fark.

That's where I played with him, too.

Maybe you heard me try to get him to shut up, too.....
