Got a 5 year old labrador mix from the shelter a few months ago. They "forgot" to mention he had "some" aggression issues. If that burglar had put so much as a foot in our place, our dog would've seriously attempted to remove his leg from the rest of his body. Problem is, he's like that with everyone he doesn't know who walks into our place.

/He's getting better, remote collars do wonders.

Hm. We have a lab mix that would have ripped that guy a new arsehole, presumably to stuff the pudding cup in to. She's an absolute doll (typical lab behavior) to everybody we meet - once we either shake their hand, hug them, or otherwise tell her they're OK. Try to come in our hose without either of those and you won't leave the house intact.
