Twitter's terrible because it really amplifies the idea of "winning the argument" as opposed to having a discussion. You never really see any dialogue, just someone writing something snarky and saying "YES! I WON!"

Especially when you have people like Michelle Malkin and her idiotic site Twitchy. She just takes random tweets from nobodys and posts them up as evidence of what "the left" is saying. It's the ultimate in false equivalence. "Oh yeah? A Republican Congressman was throwing the term "wetback" around a week ago like it was an ok thing to say?
