I'm assuming he thought the cowl was full of Reese's Pieces.

From the comments:

Mirthor: Val Kilmer is one of the greatest actors to ever live. just one look at tombstone, the doors, or kiss kiss bang bang and that is clear. It's just a plain shame that he hasn't got more rolls.

BlueBlazes: I don't know...looks like he's had more than enough rolls.

Tread: From the looks of him lately, I think he has plenty of rolls.

I chuckled.

Three Crooked Squirrels: I've never watched the show.  Is that secretary's schtick that she's retarded?

Yeah, I was trying to figure out how much is real and how much is scripted... I couldn't decide if she was supposed to be this slow, or really is this slow... "Is it Adam West?" "Adam West is 85 years old, it's not farkinf Adam West!"  That made me laugh...

Everything in it is scripted.  Well, there's probably some ad-libbing, but it's not a 'reality' series.  Warwick is playing a caricature of himself.

Life's Too Short is goddamn hilarious.  Even if you dislike typical Ricky Gervais schtick, Warwick Davis is a farking hero on that show.

Actually, this frog bit (which is more of a commercial) is probably the funniest thing the show has done.  Clearly, Ricky and Warwick get along pretty well.

I might have to check out this show. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant has a pretty good track record making funny stuff. I absolutely love the animated HBO series they did w/ Karl Pilkington.

The more scenes I remember from the show, it gets hard to pick a favorite.  The wedding reception was definitely one of the high points of the series that I don't think has been mentioned yet.  I think every episode had at least one moment that was hilarious.

It's worth checking out.  It's only 8 episodes (7 + the recent special).  So it's not exactly a huge commitment.
