Motley Fool is pushing crappy clickbank products? I thought it was a reputable site. Guess not.

"Life's better when we're connected" to your jugular vein.

WTF kind of slogan is that for a bank?  Sounds like AOL or Prodigy!

Wow, Motley Fool is partnering with Fark now. Well, at least its not more BuzzFeed links.

Lets all gather around the CRT and remember a kinder, gentler time when links on Fark were submitted by individuals who had found weird, interesting, or outrageous news stories themselves, and were not all paid interns working for growing media conglomerates, doing their jobs for the day, uploading the latest viral marketing and click-bait.

Sorry, Bank of America, I'm quite happy with my credit union.

I have BAC stock and it's up since I bought it (anybody that thought BAC was going away after what happened to Lehman and Sterns was nuts).

That said, I'd just as soon stomp on the face of anybody employed at BoA as look at it. Bottom-feeding, scumsucking incompetent assmonkeys, the lot of them. I was a customer for two months after they bought MBNA before they farked up my credit card account by refusing to process a payment they received on a Friday until the following Tuesday while charging me the late fee on the intervening holiday Monday (the day it was supposedly due). Then, when I closed the account and moved it to a CU, they misapplied the interest on my last payment, never sent a new bill and 60 days later I got a collection notice and a ding on my Transunion credit report. They stopped collections and removed the erroneous amount after I spent 20 minutes verbally abusing a customer abuse rep, but I never did get the credit report fixed and gave up after fighting with them for nearly 10 weeks.

They can kindly go fark themselves. I hope Moynihan gets eaten by a grue.

I have two accounts with BoA. One is a HELOC (that my credit union does not want) and one is a savings account with $317.06 in it. The savings account is only because I got a lower interest rate on the HELOC by having it, and it requires a minimum of $300 to not have to pay a monthly service fee. I figure that I'll use that money to throw a party when I get the HELOC paid off. Then I will have no accounts at BoA.

Watch out for the $18 Inactive Savings Account Fee, which will set off a $400 penalty on your HELOC, and the interest rate will automatically jump up to the 28% high-risk rate.

Linux_Yes: be smart. move everything to a Federal Credit Union.

Done done and done looooong ago. My brief stint as a Bank of America victim was years ago.

And, still, fark those guys with a rusty spoon.
