RTM later sold a startup to Yahoo! for tens of millions, received a Ph.D. from Harvard, and ultimately became a professor at MIT. So he's doing all right.

Also a member of the Improbable Research (Ig Nobel) editorial board, where among all his accomplishments he proudly acknowledges his felony conviction as his defining accomplishment.

A few weeks later the show was picked up on all FOX stations, and in 2008 the AMW team announced their 1000th captured criminal: a New York realtor named Dwight Smith.

But Jerome Walton is still on the loose!

Has the Shamu plane only been out of commission for 1 year?  Seems like it's been forever since I've seen it.  It was based out of San Antonio, so I remember seeing it all the time back in the day.

It's what he did that amazed everyone. He broke the law, paid the consequences, and went on to be an amazing member of society.

In October of 1988 I was 19 years old and had just started at the best job I ever had.

Best Buy Company.

They paid great, they accommodated my hours to meet my college schedule, I was teamed with some guys who would become my mentors and they hadn't yet become the corporate caricature they would later evolve into (although the signs were there).

Also, I still had a great head of hair, I was getting laid a lot and I had no bills to speak of, outside of weed, gas and beer.

It doesn't seem like it should be that long ago.

Time flies when you're eating lunch.

• The Barbershop Harmony Society (neé S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. neé S.P.P.B.S.Q.S.A.) turns 75 years old tomorrow.
Action Comics #1 (first published appearance of Superman) was published 75 years ago later this month.

That's two uniquely American artforms (out of only a handful to exist) that got their main revivals that perpetuated them to this day, 75 years ago this month.
