I'm too damn old as that just looks idiotic to me, why damage your car and waste your tires to show you have a penis.

Would it be too far off to say that a good strategy here would be to just sit on the brakes, wait until you hear the other guy spinning is tires, and then go?

A 2wd can be towed by a smaller vehicle if the rear wheels break traction.
/who knew?
//liked the video where the Dodge took the Chevy for a lap around the parking lot better.

The problem isn't torque. The wheel spin on the truck shows that. They're in more or less the same weight class - but most of the pickup's weight is in the front when it's unloaded.

Put a couple of thousand pounds in the truck bed and try again.

I watched the video before coming to the thread. My first thought was, "Why is that shrill woman standing so close to a rope under so much tension?"
Glad I'm not the only one with that thought.

Ha Ha. The guy in the pickup probably went home and cried like a baby.

The chevy is not in 4WD, either.  Also, pickups have much less weight over the rear wheels.

It's more about traction than pure power.  The Chevy looks like it's riding on mud/trail tires, great for getting traction in the sticky stuff, but not as good as street tires for grip on pavement.

/Couldn't see the badges on the Touareg, they made a V10 diesel version for a few years
