Yes, but you won't be flying them from Pittsburgh to Denver. Coach on Singapore, Cathay, Malaysia and Emirates is on par with or better than first-class on US carriers. The standard behavior for most employees I encounter domestically seems to be "this job would be great if it weren't for all the customers."

In their defense, it probably would be.

If people shop and make decisions on who to fly to save $15 then they deserve what they get.
