shows how a shift in perception can change how you experience reality

And how does it show that?

impaler: And how does it show that?

She walks through a door and everything changes. Duh. Only, like, she's still in the same place, man. But it's different now because she's all shifted and stuff.

A good visit to the outhouse will brighten anyone's day, but she needs to be careful, that looks like poison ivy near the door.

It's an artsy take/remake of the scene in Empire when Luke walks into the cave...

We've been fluxed by a kid who spent 4 hours shooting and 8 hours editing with no end in mind.

I'm pretty sure this kid is the love-child of the Mulholland Drive director.

If she had stepped in a large pile of dog shiat at the end, it would have improved this clip tremendously.

Congratulations Subby, you managed to film a female touching another females breasts, and maybe even got to see those breasts yourself, in the name of "art".

Want to spout some diatribe? Write an essay. Trying to place this to film demeans the purpose of film. Nothing artistic is represented, merely artsy.

This was like the crap that that "artists" shot/edited back in some film classes I took many years ago. The worst was one called, "Death: Here and there, then and now." I have no idea what the hell it was about either, but the title alone sucked arse.

/my group did the brewery video
//WOO

Someone has to make this exact video - same tone and all - with that ending.

I concur, overcast skies and all.

I went to SF State (hey they had a film program and since I was local to CA tuition was $2000 a semester)

My final film was a dark comedy about two guys trying to poison one another on a day when all murder is legal (Dystopian society type thing). Derivative, I know, but hey people could follow the plot, laughed at the jokes and the ending wasn't ambiguous.

It didn't make it through to SF State's end of semester student "Film Festival" The people that beat me made stuff like this.

/I know, I know. CSB

I understand how this got posted. Somebody was trying to get exposure for their friend's (or their own) student film. What I'll never understand is how it got greenlit.

Navel-gazing, pretentious dreck masquerading as "art."

If that somehow changed how you perceive reality, you're about as introspective as my cat.

I was waiting for a guy with a hockey mask and a chainsaw to show up.

That would have been a movie worth watching.

2013-04-08 06:29:34 PM
I watched it once without sound. It was a horrible piece of crap with no sense of direction and never attempted to make any kind of point. I said fine, the sound must be important, so I turned it on. It was a slightly more horrible peice of crap with no sense of direction and never attempted to make any kind of point that I now had watched twice. Thanks, subs. You've ruined my entire year with this trash. Maybe 2014 will be better.

/just kidding
