Now let's do Avs/Red Wings at Mile High. The benches would clear just for the alumni game

forstmeister: ISO15693: Good grief... another game of mediocre east coast teams?

What are they trying to do, kill the whole concept?

Since when is the Midwest on the East Coast?

People on the West coast think anything East of the Rockies is East coast.

I might be in the minority on this but you have probably the two best uniforms in the NHL, both of which have been largely unchanged since forever.  Just use your classic, awesome uniforms.

We need old time pond hockey like they used to play in Phoenix or Miami

I wish I could remember which city the defending champs are from. Some classic, northeast city, I'm sure.

By all means, award the outdoor game to Los Angeles.

.....or send the LA team to play against New York or Detroit or Chicago or (need i go on?)

LA fans don't travel well.  Detroit fans and Toronto fans do.

The old Detroit Cougars "D" jerseys are cooler, but these are a pretty decent 2nd best.

Oh and can we return to calling the "jerseys" Sweaters please.  That is what I would like to see along with a Red Wing win!

Am I the only who thinks the Leafs one is not good looking? The sleeves and the oversized logo make this version look like pajamas. I think the 1960s version would have been a much better choice.

How 'bout having the players use ol' timey equipment as well?
Leather shin pads, wooden sticks, no protective melon helmet, Victorian oven mitts, etc.
