I'm sure you're right - they're no longer among the living at this late date. But somehow, I assumed the tags made it possible to track them over long distances. Or at least by helicopter. But perhaps I misunderstand the cost/benefit ratio.

/If we can do it with endangered species, though, why not cattle?
