Here Comes Everybody: Notabunny: DerpFeed?BuzzGarbl?
DarwiOdrade: No, but I'm neither a fundamentalist Christian nor conservative.

skullkrusher: cameroncrazy1984: skullkrusher: cameroncrazy1984: skullkrusher: sunlion: As long as there's a black or hispanic alive in this country, the conservative movement will feel that it needs to go further to the right.Fresh and original is not always good. This post is a fine exampleHow do YOU explain the "autopsy" of the GOP that says they don't need to change the message, they just need to change how they say it?not how sunlion did.Oh well thanks for your, uh, opinion, then. I guess.there is quite literally no depth of stupid you won't embrace, is there?
sugardave: CorporatePerson: wildcardjack: Is there any conservative humor that isn't just being mean to people?King of the Hill? Not sure if Mike Judge is a conservative or not. He tends to be insightful and funny without being hateful so he's probably not. Still KOTH is hilarious and all the Texas conservatives are the good guys and all the liberals are annoying stereotypes. Not sure of his politics, but I'd bet more liberal than conservative.CSB: I met Mike Judge at the opening of the Beavis and Butthead movie.
dickfreckle: make me some tea: This should be about as successful as their attempts to make right-slanted versions of The Daily Show, Wikipedia, Media Matters, etc. They only attract a small audience of those seeking their own echo chamber, while everyone else rolls their eyes and moves on.Liberals are by nature innovators, the people who come up with new ideas. It's pretty much the definition of liberal. Can we actually cite a successful conservative attempt at this sort of thing? Yes, their blogs are wildly popular among the chemtrail and Kenya crowd, but every attempt at humor, social media, their own wiki, etc, just seems laughable - and not in the good way. Even the political cartoons we're threadsh*tted with don't approach insightful humor, regardless of the reader's point of view.I won't go so far as to say that liberals are necessarily smarter and funnier than conservatives (remember, not all conservatives are Palin-Americans), but it seems that every time Republicans try to be funny or 'modern' I cringe in embarrassment...for them.
whidbey: SilentStrider: CptnSpldng: a mimeograph machine.Memmmm-morrrreeees
sugardave: Okay, then. The only time I see their tired shiat is if someone quotes them. Asking someone to judge is someone is being sincere in their Fark posts is pretty subjective don't you think? I could say "yes, I think the mouthbreathers that pop in and post their bullshiat are sincere" and you could say "no, they're not." At the end of the day, they are representing the views of GOPpers to whomever is looking. If you think they are hurting "your team" to the point you have to whine about the jokes, maybe you should do more to muzzle them. Otherwise, let them pound it loud and proud and let the snark fall where it may. And limiting to Fark is a bit disingenuous, isn't it? I mean, GOPpers are ALL over the place spouting shiat like this ALL THE TIME. Let me guess....it's not acceptable to use experiences outside of Fark (where the resident GOPpers may have become SLIGHTLY less vocal) to make fun of GOPpers?I know, it sucks always losing the humor battle. But, GOPpers are so much better than librulz in every other way, so surely you can let that one slide.
The Why Not Guy: skullkrusher: B) you just just tried a both sides are unfunny using Sarah Palin as an example. No, I didn't. I'm saying both sides run jokes into the ground. Whether those jokes are funny or not is for people to decide for themselves.
cameroncrazy1984: whidbey: More like ITT: When to use one's Fark IL responsiblyThere's a Fark, Illinois?
cameroncrazy1984: ITT skullkrusher doesn't understand the craft of comedy.
skullkrusher: Sure. Being funnier and more innovative than a conservative doesn't make you funny or innovative

Lionel Mandrake: Everything the GOP tries is an attempt to copy something else. And it always fails.Unless they're not making rich people richer, they're completely lost.
skullkrusher: notto: skullkrusher:Then why is every liberalmeme and joke driven into the ground via mindnumbing repetition by the overwhelming majority of liberals who don't meet your definition? Thanks a lot #0bamaThe 0bama thing is done by one person around here and no one pretends it is funny.
DarwiOdrade: TAKING IT BACK STARTS NOWThe butthurt in that phrase alone says so much.
