Given how bad GOP creations usually suck, it'll be interesting to see how they could possibly create something that sucks worse than Buzzfeed.

Everything the GOP tries is an attempt to copy something else.  And it always fails.

Unless they're not making rich people richer, they're completely lost.

This should be about as successful as their attempts to make right-slanted versions of The Daily Show, Wikipedia, Media Matters, etc. They only attract a small audience of those seeking their own echo chamber, while everyone else rolls their eyes and moves on.

Liberals are by nature innovators, the people who come up with new ideas. It's pretty much the definition of liberal.

Why does the GOP need a conservative version of everything? It's like facts and reality don't line up with their particular brand of politics.

Of all the things to ape... Buzzfeed? Someone said to themselves, "I want to be the next Buzzfeed"? "I too would like to post list articles that consist of a bunch of pictures and shiatty captions?" Why?

Conservative entertainment is largely about being mean and vindictive. They would already be the kings of the internet if it wasn't for their complete inability to laugh at themselves.

Because if X isn't slanted to Conservatives, then it MUST be slanted to LIberals since there's no other option. Therefore it NEEDS a conservative version to balance the scales against the LIBERAL version.

Well when your main viewer base is as uneducated as Republicans, well big fancy words and having to scroll the page a few inches is so tiring that they have to go back to sleep until top of the hour foxnews wakes them back up.

This "snark" of theirs should be amusing, but not in the way they hoped, since it generally boils down to playground taunts.

It'd be nice if instead of being exclusionary dicks who must constantly build alternate realities to reinforce their worldview, conservatives just joined the rest of reality that everyone lives in. Although that would require treating the people who disagree with them as equals rather than inferiors.

Liberals are by nature innovators, the people who come up with new ideas. It's pretty much the definition of liberal.

Can we actually cite a successful conservative attempt at this sort of thing? Yes, their blogs are wildly popular among the chemtrail and Kenya crowd, but every attempt at humor, social media, their own wiki, etc, just seems laughable - and not in the good way. Even the political cartoons we're threadsh*tted with don't approach insightful humor, regardless of the reader's point of view.

I won't go so far as to say that liberals are necessarily smarter and funnier than conservatives (remember, not all conservatives are Palin-Americans), but it seems that every time Republicans try to be funny or 'modern' I cringe in embarrassment...for them.
