The lawsuit is going to be nasty.

Ferrari has a patent on and been the leader in automotive self-immolation.  Clearly, Lamborghini is infringing on that IP.

This wasnt a farking original Model-T.

Correct, it was one hell of a lot rarer and more influential.

More influential, because this car mechanized America, right? This Lamborghini was the first car that the average person could afford to buy? I'm sorry, how can a Lamborghini ever be influential as far as anyone is concerned. It's a tiny little niche thing. It will never influence the world. Lamborghini isnt Saab, Saab influences the with their fighter aircraft and light attack munition manufacturing. Saab doesnt even make cars anymore.

Lamborghini makes cars for the super rich. That is about it. If they make IFVs of any-sort I'll withdrawal my argument of their insignificance. But what worth does a sports car have?

So they also make shiat tractors as well as overpriced cars?

Number of Lamborghini Miuras produced (all variants) - @750 749

FTFY.

A burned up Lambo isn't a tragedy or sad, except for the fool who spent way too much money to own it.

No, you guys are right. We should bow down and worship this museum worthy car. I could go faster than other cars like it. And it looks pretty too. Not a waste of materiel at all.

Don't you have to get your geometry homework done?

Sixty Minutes had a piece on Miles Davis back in the early 90's. When he was showing them one of his Ferraris, they mentioned that his staff would call LAPD to give them a heads up when he was going to take it for a drive, because a black man driving a Ferrari?

Vienna: Subby: saddest thing you'll see today
I'm gonna guess that a vast majority of Farkers would disagree.

Yep. If that's the saddest thing I see today, it probably was a great day.

threadjackistan: Lsherm: threadjackistan: Awww, a rich person had their easily replaceable automobile catch on fire?

I should care because?

Well, for one, it isn't easily replaceable.

Please explain to me how it isnt easly replaceable. Did it get exceptional gas mileage? Did it have a unique cargo capacity? It what sense is this automobile difficult to replace? Perhapse if had a specialized medical suite in the trunk I might be able to understand.

But I suspect that this was just a rare pokemon car for the super rich. And that it is about as difficult to replace as my old Desert Storm trading cards? What irreplaceable economic function does it provide? Or am I right? Is this just a poor little super rich man lost his toy?

Well, if someone stole the Mona Lisa, lets just throw up a polaroid of a chick with duck lips... It's just a picture of a woman.

Yes, you can easily replicate the performance of that car, but only because people kept pushing the edge, like Lamborghini did when it made the Muira. Can my iPod outperform the Apollo Guidance Computer? Yes. Does that make the Apollo Guidance Computer  any less spectacular? No.

Why should anyone be upset?  It's just a stupid Italian tractor.

the cause of the fire is simple

jackoffs trying to keep everything they can original and not even having a CLUE how much a two-cell integrated extinguisher is worth in insurance discounts

Nice Halon and CO2+bicarb would have nipped that in the bud and a couple gunshots to the head would have gotten the fire truck through long before there was permanent body damage...

If you don't care, don't care. But when you act petulantly because other people value something that you don't, and go out of your way to flaunt your ignorance and lack of perceptiveness as if it is something to be proud of, that looks less like apathy and more like childishness.

/points for originality though, all of you
