I initially thought that I would pay real money to see that, but then I remembered all the pros are already at the strip clubs.

Harry and Ron unwrapped their wands while Hermoine played with her petronas charm.  Harry Slytherined  his broom stick into Hermonie's Goblet of Fire while Hermonine Hufflepuffed Ron with her chamber of secrets as she fondled his Sorcerer Stones. Ron exclaimed "Expelliarmus" when he came but Harry didn't use the wizards cloak and ended up getting Hogwarts.

"The Bling Ring"?  That's her next project?  Jesus Fark - you'd think she could have any role she wanted, really.  Why would she go to B movies?

Benevolent Misanthrope: "The Bling Ring"?  That's her next project?  Jesus Fark - you'd think she could have any role she wanted, really.  Why would she go to B movies?

Actually, I read the real answer in another article about the movie. She was given the script, read it, and found herself utterly hating the character, and liking the broader commentary on a fame obsessed culture. Hating the character wound up being a plus, because she thought the acting challenge of playing a character so foreign to her personality would be an interesting challenge.

It's being directed by Sofia Coppola, so you hardly call it a B movie.

I share the hatred of celebrity obsession culture but its a bit hypocritical to complain about it when it's the reason you are richer then 99.9 % of the planet

This also smells like a follow on movie to Harmony Korine's last.

As I understand her understanding of the movie, it's more about how shallow, vapid, and fame seeking people become as a result of that culture. My impression is that it's more of a criticism of the Paris Hilton types, where being famous is both an end and a means to an end, independent of any real intelligence or talent, than it is of the idea of celebrity and success more broadly.

Kinda perked my ears a little because I'm working on a poem about the peculiar oddness of celebrity obsession at the moment, inspired in part by my own fascination with certain actors, Emma Watson included. Still in its early stages, I have a rough first stanza and and outline for 3 more, but it's one I'm really looking forward to developing more.

\No, that's not what I do for a living.
\\Just a hobby.

Yeah, I'm thinking he means he wants to take for a nice dinner, then probably some dancing, walk her to her door, say "thank you for the nice evening", go home, and jerk off.

A pole dance is also better when a stripper is crying.
