Why does Ikea sell cheap build it yourself furniture and food in the same place? Just seems like a strange disconnect is all.

Mugato: Why does Ikea sell cheap build it yourself furniture and food in the same place? Just seems like a strange disconnect is all.

Many people don't have close access to an Ikea, and often make a day trip out of shopping there.  So they provide a way for people to eat lunch there and stay in the store.

It would be a miserable day trip for me, but its a thing with Ikea customers.

Do they raise moose in Sweden for food? Moose seem rather too majestic to eat.

I'd try it.  Pork and all.

I love deer venison.  I'd probably like moose venison, too.

Moose (called Elk in Europe) tends to be very lean which means in making moose sausage you have to add fat, usually from a pig.

I can't find whether the lasagna was made from ground moose or moose sausage - I usually make lasagna from sausage because it has more flavor.

Anyway, moose can be both kosher and halal though I have no idea if Ikea's moose is prepared under religious supervision.

Moose tastes more like beef than deer.

The last moose dad bagged, he had the butcher mix pork into the "hamburger" and it was delicious.

According to the wiki linked helpfully above, the closest to a name it has in English is "o with slash."
