Not just dies a lot but in incredibly creative, violent ways.  Drawn & quartered, stampeded, crushed by burning debris, and eviscerated via bayonet.

Ah, Sean Bean.

The Mr. Bill of the movie world.

I just started watching Game of Thrones, I hope he lives a long time. His character is awesome. www.reactionface.info

It's too bad he always gets drafted to play a goon. Of course, he does it so well.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: Ah, Sean Bean.

I want to pull a Samuel L Jackson in Deep Blue Sea with him, but only in the final 30 seconds.

Half of the things I've seen Sean Bean star in are episodes of the "Sharpe's" series...so to me, he actually lives to the end quite often.

How is that show? I've thought about getting into it, but haven't had a chance.

I like it, despite it being pretty cheesy.  There's always the element of romance, as Sharpe is quite the ladies' man, and some are better than others of course, but I like it overall.  Lots of good guest stars, too.  And in episode four (or thereabouts) you get to see Elizabeth Hurley's tits (very briefly)

That's the most wonderfully evil idea I've heard in a long, long time.

Well done!

In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion he turns into a dragon and then to stone.

Only I had no idea just how often it happened.

TY for that. Think I'll check it out.

Actually read a few of the books by now and have had the series on my "'maybe" list for a bit.

Love SB as an actor but am now well conditioned not to start liking his characters too much in anything these days cos of his propensity for getting killed off in truly awful, albeit creative, ways.

He should hang out with Robert DeNiro more often.  That guy may have gotten him fired, but kept him from being sniped next to the Seine.

How is it possible that I haven't seen any of those movies.

She survived Human Target, but died twice in Torchwood. A worthy challenger, indeed.

She's in Luther too, I think.  She's Luther's ex-wife.

The core 11 (Sharpe's Rifles, Eagle, Gold, Company, Sword, Enemy, Honor, Regiment, Siege, Revenge & Waterloo) are excellent.  The add-ons are hit&miss (Tiger, Triumph, & Devil are good, but come on TRAFALGAR?)

He survived Mirror Mirror.

/  Don't ask me how I know this.

For the record, he did survive Silent Hill and Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
