I think I may be. There's apparently a small leprechaun operating a jackhammer inside my skull.

Need one from Reading for the perfect.

That was a long time coming, Reading are very poor today and are sealing their fate.

Your FFPL report for Round 31

farm9.staticflickr.com

No negative scores this week as results conform to expectations. Well, most people's expectations.

Top scorer of the week is Mr_H with a strong 155 - only one wrong result. Second best was Martissimo with 145 and then wynswrld with 135. At the other end of the scale, lost_limey could only muster 20, a score which in other weeks would have been well above average.

I retain the Banker Bonus Presidency, Cognitive_Displaysia and Martissimo the rest of the committee.

Mitchcumstein1 drops onto Page 2, replaced by tom_the_servo_bit_me on Page 1. I repeat; tom_the_servo_bit_me is on Page 1 -  a mighty effort considering his late start and immediate dive down to -200. Otherwise on Page 2 30/30 is gaining significant momentum.

At the top end, kcostell is at the South Sea Bubble. Obamartins is adopting the metric system. I, I am colonising Mars!

7 games to go!

Was debating putting my banker on So'ton, decided to move it to Arsenal, then Chelsea. Hopefully I don't get bit for my indecision.

I changed to a Saints win last night! Should've put my banker on it. Didn't put my banker on anything. Wanted to put insurance on literally every game.

The Manchester derby calls for the Insurance surely?
Still time to get your banker on Chelsea beating the Filth Column.

Insurance on QPR/Wigan. If United lose, my score in FFPL is the least of my worries. The new manager effect makes Sunderland too unpredictable. They might stick 11 behind the ball, they might go all-out attack, they might be inspired, they might be insipid. Who knows?

Somebody tweeted this to the BBC live text, and they actually printed it:

"Odd no-one is mentioning Stoke as possible relegation candidates, if they lose today they'd be one point off the relegation zone."

Yes so very, very hungover. I did manage to make out with a chica whose voluptuous bosoms were practically falling out of her top. Gotta love college. Or at least my second go around with college haha

Also 689908, that Tevez picture is amazing. Thanks for sharing that. Now to watch Swansea/Norwich while I figure out what the hell is going on in the world.

2013-04-06 10:21:11 AM
To the Arsenal 1-0 and I'm feeling stupid for having taken my banker off of them.

2013-04-06 10:21:54 AM
Gervinho? He...he did something productive...again..

2013-04-06 10:22:54 AM
Well there's something you don't see everyday. Grats Rosicky.

My predos for today:

Reading 0-2 Southampton (perfect!)
Norwich 1-2 Swansea
Stoke 1-1 Villa
WBA 1-3 Arsenal

I think not putting in a Villa win (which I was considering) was a mistake.

I have a parlay in play of the 3 relegation teams losing this weekend so villas early lead is disconcerting.

They still have plenty of time to fall apart.

My bonus on Stoke looks downright dumb

Abonglahor? More like abonglawhore. With a dive that even makes Suarez feel uncomfortable.

Fantastic goal from Norwich off the set piece. Amazing finish from Michael Turner.

Banker on a Liverpool win, insurance on Arsenal walking it in. Shooting to shatter my +20 score from last week. Hoping to scrape into the top 10 before season's end.

My predictions were:

Reading 1-1 Southampton
Norwich 1-1 Swansea
Stoke 1-0 Villa
WBA 0-1 Arsenal (I)
Liverpool 2-0 West Ham (B)
Spurs 1-1 Everton
Chelsea 2-0 Sunderland
Newcastle 1-1 Fulham
QPR 1-0 Wigan
United 1-1 City

Just felt like it was gonna be a lot of draws this week.

RED CARD TO ARSENAL

2013-04-06 11:28:51 AM
Okay, maybe I'm not feeling so stupid. Sucks for Per, had to do it, just farked his timing.

This game's ending is either going to make me feel really great for taking the banker off, or suicidal because I called it 3-1 Arsenal.
