I feel really bad about laughing at that. As much as a spectacle as that man was, I had a lot of respect for him and his cause. But I'll be damned if I didn't laugh at the Halloween costumes, sting ray jokes, and all the other stuff that came after his passing.

I already had a seat reserved, but I think I got upgraded to first class directly to hell after that.

That was extremely bad taste. Which is probably why I got a chuckle out of it.

Steve Irwin was a class act though.

Maybe he was a bit corny at times and maybe he said Crikey too often, but he cared about animals and his shows were entertaining.

You know, my goal was to make my comment as distasteful as possible, which isn't particularly hard when you're looking for an example of death-by-fire. But I hadn't seen that video in years. I had forgotten exactly how horrible that event was.
