The One True TheDavid: First you wash 'em in the dishwasher, then you sterilize 'em in a bowl of 100 proof bourbon. Which you drink afterward: waste is sinful.


Oh, fark, I've been putting them in a bowl of bourbon and THEN washing them. No WONDER my bourbon had a copperish taste.

Dumbass?  Why?  They thought it was industry standard.  It's not like they were throwing that stuff in with the office coffee mugs.  Although the visual is sort of hilarious.

And they were fined a thousand bucks apiece.  Not exactly much of a punitive measure.

Also, don't use regular dishsoap in a dishwasher. You'll get a huge suds overflow that is a pain to clean up.
