Does it pay to steal two tires mounted on rims if you leave the jack behind? That seems...inefficient. I can't imagine that minivan meals-on-wheels were fancy enough to bring much money.

At least the wheels are fairly easy and relatively cheap to replace. Imagine if they had hack-sawed the catalytic converters off. That happened to a few vehicles in the fleet of a place I worked at a few years ago.

Because my grandparents were too poor to afford good meals once Grandpa's health went to shiat.  All their savings went to keeping his mean and nasty ornery old ass alive.  In their last years my old man and a few of his sisters sent money to Meals on Wheels to help keep their parents fed.  That was some 25 years ago.

Kids these days are going hungry because their asshole parents have big screen TVs, smart phones, and the latest iCrap because gadgets are more important than food.  Electronic toy addiction is the new alcoholism.
