"Double texting is driving while texting people on phones held in each hand."

i am seriously struggling to imagine a scenario in which this would be necessary. i mean that's gotta be hard as shiat to begin with. and it would definitely be faster for me to text one at a time than to try to do it once in each hand while driving. dude's obviously got skills.

720 pills?!?!?!?! In one prescription? And someone filled it? CVS relief pharmacist read me the riot act when I was filling Xanax and Valium together... for my husband.... who had ALS so I had a good reason.

well, yeah. the presence of drugs makes the whole two phones thing reasonable.

If you can't drive/steer with your knees...... You suck at driving.

/So since I don't click dailyfail links...... Did they mention that police officers(in some regions) don't have to comply with anti-cellphone use laws?

//Rush Limbaugh pilots his plane with all that stuff...... It must be true because no sky cop has ever pulled him over for it. Even if he has a pilot with him, whats to stop him from drugging the pilot with fart gas and taking over?

He had a script for the Oxy and will assume he had one for the Xanax as well.  If anyone is in trouble, it would be the Doctor that wrote out a script for 720 Oxy's.

If they were white, the headline would read, "Person pulled over for "double texting" and possession of Marijuana.  I'm not a lawyer, but is it legal to let the public know what scripts you are on?  I don't think so...

Any decent lawyer will easily beat this case from the information given by the paper.  Black people are not allowed to have $4500 and a script.

Probably guilty, but police are assholes.

Thank God I was a regular customer (weekly if not daily) so when the script wasnt ready and the fill-in pharmacist looked at me in front of the line of 5 behind me and said "it's not done but I guarantee you there is NO POSSIBLE reason for you to need both scripts at the same time as nothing in life is that bad so I'll be contacting the authorities at once" the pharmacy techs took a step back. The only the ruined that day was her brain when my crap-covered and exausted self went FULL DETAIL as to why my husband needed both with actual anatomical features and southern profanity.

It took seventeen posts for someone to bring up the "racism" angle? Slipping badly around here.

People look at others and assume they are guilty.  I'm white and am about to go on disability because of a surgery I need, so when I was at the Hospital yesterday, I saw a sign that said "Volunteer Office".  I thought what the hell and walked in there to see if they were in need of any help in the mental health field...

Anyway, these older retired people looked at me like I was a scumbag, and could tell they were thinking that because of what they had said to me about needing great references etc..  I have longer, skater-like hair and was wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but I guess the didn't notice the $300 jacket I had on.  I never underestimate the person in front of me, I learned this years ago, and wish they would have done the same.  It is their lose by far.

As to the article, if a Doctor is giving out 720 Oxy's, no matter what mg, that is far too many even if it was for 3 mths. The Dr. either got this poor kid addicted on the crap or is in on the scam. I would like to lead the investigation on this.  Remember that drug companies and doctors are the best drug dealers.

By the way, I would have been the 4th post, but my dog was bothering me.  Maybe I should dreadlock my hair and see if I can get a job, then I will pull out my references and see what they have to say then...  People are assholes.

If they can get 720 pills, any person will have no problem getting what they need if they go to the proper pharmacy and know the situation.  "Mom and Pop" places are the best one's to go to for both ends of the spectrum.  Screw CVS etc..

The techs knew the drill and my exaustion level. I informed her life was indeed sometimes more complicated than her little closed rude mind could comprehend. With his paralysis combined with his failing diaphragm it was like drowning. Added to that were his 4 & 6 year old he couldn't talk to. Plus his bride doing bed pans several times a day. The upper motor neurons misfiring caused spasticity and cramps which caused anxiety. AND one time he saw a spider claiming down a web at his face and couldn't move or talk and that generally discribed most his days. The nights were worse. So she needed to back the hell off and fill the scripts and learn some decorum.

Then I called corporate.

I can't imagine a pharmacist filling that, much less not making a call to the doctor to confirm such a script.  The red flag is so big on such a script I could see it from here.
