predle: In every picture takers life there is a moment, a moment when everything is just perfect, perfect timing, perfect light, but most of all the perfect subject. For me that moment was 5:38 pm mdt on Saturday April 6, 2013[predle576.smugmug.com image 850x637]
professional_vampire: Poor little Cracker Jack. He still doesn't trust hubby or me, because we took him to the vet yesterday. He's fine with us when we're sitting or lying down, but when we're standing up he gives us this "are you going to put me in that carrier again" look.On the plus side, he's eating, drinking and using the litterbox like a healthy kitteh should.
lethological_lassie: Bathia_Mapes: kevinboehm: Name it whatever you like, it's not like it's going to listen. Not necessarily true. Some cats respond to the name you give them, others do not.I once called my kitten by saying "C'mere Milk!" and he trotted into the kitchen. It's often about the tone of voice and the sound of food or treats hitting the dish more than the name. ;)

yobbery: The wireless cut over last night could not have gone better. We shut down the old at 11:55pm and all devices were online with the new system by 12:05am. We quickly canvased the hospital checking coverage, then just sat around munching snacks while waiting for trouble calls that never came. I was home and in bed by 4:00am.It has been an absolutely brutal 12 weeks. I'm having fun this morning reading all the empty congratulatory emails from the suits in the ivory tower. They set this timeline to cover their own asses (long story) knowing we has one single chance in hell of pulling it off. As of this morning they can all kiss my ass.I never want to do this again.[www.smugmug.com image 300x180]
