Sort of off-topic but I love that there is a Gastonia in Gaston County, because that's my last name. Presumably it is where some of my ancestors lived until that whole American Revolution thing when the members of the family who were Loyalists eventually left and went to Canada.

Williams said he has heard from CaroMont employees who feel the language cheapens their mission, as well as pastors who find the message blasphemous. Tom Keigher, one of several Gaston County commissioners who have condemned the name change, took issue with both the CaroMont Regional name and the cheat death catchphrase. It was like they sat around and got hold of the drugs or something and just came up with the worst possible wording," he said. He took issue with CaroMont's decision to stop using "memorial" in the hospital name. "Do we need to start thinking of new names for the Lincoln Memorial or the Jefferson Memorial?" he asked.

CaroMont's business will be booming with all those sticks up people's asses to remove.
