This is absolutely hilarious.  I'd love to see New York state law enforcement begging for someone to sell them weapons.  Not gonna happen, but a man can dream.

"I actually heard from the actual 'Soup Nazi' through Facebook, and I'm like 'Wow.'  This social media is a double-edged sword."

Larry Thomas sent a message that he'd give Serbu the chance to stop using his image before "this becomes a legal battle."

Technically, that's not the actual Soup Nazi.

"(Gunsmiths are treated like) we have horns and a tail and we run around with a pitchfork and we're plotting the death of children," he said, "but we don't."

"We just profit from the death of children."

1. Children murdered en masse
2. Gunsmiths oppose any regulation that might dent sales
3. People buy more guns because they're "about to be banned"
4. PROFIT

Why do you want the bad guys to be the only ones with guns?

"The only thing that stops a bad guy with agun is agood guy with a gun,"
- Wayne LaPierre

Yeah, schadenfreude that results in outgunned cops and a terrorized citizenry is the best kind, right?

Perhaps it would be better to not sell weapons to people who will make them easily accessible to their mentally ill kids.

No, no I didn't. Mostly because I don't find a whiney Jew funny.

Of course they don't plot the deaths of children.  That's absurd.  They really don't give a shiat whether children live or die as long as they make their money.

Mark Serbu, founder of the eponymous company, told the Post that he'll honor the actor's request, and the company has removed the images of the shirts from its Facebook page.

"Larry Thomas doesn't want his face on our shirt . . . He's an actor, he doesn't want to be involved with something as hot-button as guns. We are just going to shoot him. Only joking," Serbu said. "We don't want to get into a lawsuit; we'll change the shirts."

Ha Ha. Gun nuts are hilarious.

Curious as to why the cop needed a .50 cal sniper rifle in the first place.

"And I told the guy," he recalled, "that we don't sell to law enforcement or state entities that can't be sold to a private citizen in that state."

I'm guessing this means that there's a law against the gun shops selling to cops, but the second half of this statement looks to me like butchered English. Can someone who understands this please translate for me? What's the law?

/aren't all state entities for sale to private citizens?

3. S.W.A.T.

5. Homeland Security already bought the bullets

I'm not positive, I DO think people hunt with them, although I don't know if you could ever find the deer you shot from 2 miles away. The thing I was wondering is why the cop needed one personally if the residents of that state couldn't posses one. Crazy part about the things is that you have to take out a mortgage on your house to afford the ammo.

FTA: Gun smiths are treated like they have a horn and tail and pitchfork???

Lets see: In the fantasy story book called the bible, the character named god murdered millions, while the character called the Devil killed 6.

/The Devil loves all and will accept all, unlike that god asshole who is a mean sonafabiatch if you don't do what he says. rape by god optional. nailing the rape child at 33 years of age to wood is mandatory.

Because not giving a shiat if children are murdered is a rational statement. Either a weak ass troll or ivory tower isolationist.

does that help? it's not a law but their store policy. its a form of protest i guess, "if its illegal in the state for private citizens to own our tank buster*, then screw that states law enforcement as well!"

*not sure what that rifle he makes is, did not look it up.

TripSixes: i read the whole article and i have no idea what happened.

As near as I can tell:

- New York won't let private citizens own certain types of guns, but cops can.
- Some New York cop tries to order one of those weapons from this gun dealer.
- Gun dealer refuses to sell said weapon to him, saying that if regular people in the state can't own a type of gun, he won't sell to cops
- This little story gets out, and, to make a couple of bucks, the store owner (I think, here's where I get confused), makes a t-shirt parodying the "Soup Nazi" episode in Seinfeld, changing "No soup for you" to "No  Serbu (the gunsmith's name, so I'm assuming the name of the gun) for you"
- Guy who played the Soup Nazi threatens to sue for some sort of infringement.

He's not selling to cops, who have gunned down more children than civilian .50 cal owners ever have. Forgoing that easy money like that, he obviously cares more about the children and you're a liar.

It's probably good that Lockheed-Martin doesn't have a policy of only selling weapons to the government if civilians can have them too.

Godwinned in potato leftist derp divide by zero logic fail. See, anybody can string words together. How a private citizen standing up to a govt employee on grounds of personal liberty makes him a Nazi is just firkin stupid logic. You should get your money back from your Junior College.
